The last true Juke Joint left in America...right here in Birmingham, AL, well just down the road from Birmingham. Gip's Place has been bringing the blues to Alabama and those visiting the state for over sixty-five years.
On our Gip's Place experience,
we'll start by grabbing dinner at a
local BBQ joint to taste the flavor
of the region. Then we'll head
down the road to Bessemer, AL.
That's where Gip's is located and
it's not exactly on a GPS.
Grab a seat, enjoy a local craft
beer or cocktail, and take in the
sights and sounds of the Deep
South.
We'll get you home safe after you've enjoyed all that Gip's and the Magic City has to offer.

The Fine Print

For those staying in Birmingham, we will pick you up from any downtown hotel location or a downtown Airbnb. Otherwise, we meet at Railroad Park in front of the large "Railroad Park" sign at the main pavilion, across from the 17th St. S. and 1st Ave, S intersection. If you have any questions about whether your place is in downtown, please contact us directly.

The tour begins at 6:30. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time to ensure we are able to begin on time. We leave Railroad Park at 6:30 and cannot accommodate arrivals past that point. Refunds or discounts will not be given to late arrivals.

Your ticket cost covers food and drink, and entry at Gip's.

You will have an opportunity to purchase additional food, beverages, or merchandise at each location if desired.

The ticket cost covers all transportation and a drop off back at Railroad Park. We finish where we started.
